How do you sweeten the deal?
I've never been very "big" marketing. I remember in sixth grade we had a social studies project where you could sell what we did. I have some chocolate chip cookies, throw in the cheap sandwich bags. May've My initial cost was low, but it was not good if no one bought. Not when homemade candy for sale as well.
So I'm creative! I have an old baseball card in every pack. Of course, I neglected to mention that the average sixth grader reallynot much interest in vintage baseball cards.
I forgot to think of "value".
Not what I as a valuable
but what the customer considers of value.
Ever watch infomercials? It gives you a barrage of things that really have no interest in then there are the great line.
"How much would you pay? Well, not yet responded ..."
Marketing is one hundred and first Give 'em to sweeten the offer. But usually offer bonuses absolutely worthless. It couldand give away baseball cards.
But I seem to always be better than them. Opus Fantasy Arts Festival last weekend was a producer is to look at our CD. The suppliers were feeling the economic shocks. Sales were not good.
The seller was not sure she could afford our $ 15 CD. Suddenly, I gave the closest. "Good for the suppliers, it is only $ 10."
He bought three CDs!
Wow! Why? I was not even trying to sell something *, and bought three!
E 'wasI think. Maybe I need more types of door closers.
Check out Bob Baker's "Guerrilla Music Marketing Handbook" as an example.
Not only is the book with music promotion tips that will greatly benefit your business packaging music, but he has seven, count 'em seven free special reports, including: "Killer Press Kits: Make the 29 most important elements Sizzling materials Music Promotion "Advertising your music: how to pay for it (and avoiding common errors)" and manymore.
Read the list itself
What can you offer that will add value to your offer? As might be burned with a homemade CD with some bonus live tracks, or even MP3 on it? Not enough? Add a sticker or a T-shirt to really sweeten the deal!
Oh! Here's one. Like when you buy a CD and mailing list, you will receive an email to enable exclusive access to a website that provides free MP3s. This will also help attract new subscribers!
AsSee, I'm still working on ideas.
But maybe you can help?
What do you offer your fans
"Sweeten" the deal and sell more CDs?
