James Taylor teams with son Ben Taylor for 2011 U.S. Tour

Want to go to a concert with his father? Here the question is even more frightening, you want to do a gig with his father? Folk singer Ben Taylor the answer to this question is yes.

Ben's father, the legendary singer and songwriter James Taylor is on tour next year and takes his son along as support.

The tour, a father and son begins Feb. 26 Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the Brady Theater. The last show is set for Taylor2. April in Toledo, Ohio at the Stranahan Theater.

Ben was originally just going with his father to play only eight performances. Probably due to a burst of positive responses from Ben performance more than doubled. The son is now open for all 18 tour dates included.

Ben is the son of James Taylor and Carly Simon (no pressure there). Although he tried to get away from her famous parents, Ben has had difficulty because he looks and sounds like his oldPeople.

Ben's first release, 2003, was famous among the barns, with the Ben Taylor Band. The band released an EP in 2004, before I knew Ben was not playing the kind of music he wanted and moved on.

Ben's first solo album, Another Run Around the Sun sank in 2005. Before turning to my friend, Ben has toured with Sheryl Crow, Ziggy Marley and Blues Traveler. Ben has a sister, Sally Taylor (descendant of an old James Taylor and Carly Simon), which alsoSinger.

During the tour, Ben will support her upcoming album, listening. It is sometimes in the fall of 2011 and the follow-up to his 2008 opera, The Legend of Kung Folk [Part 1 (The Killing Bite)].

Father Taylor is still the support of his Grammy nominated album, Cover (2008), as well as his live album, Live at the Troubadour with Carole King (2010). Taylor and King on tour last summer, a trip called "Troubadour reunion tour with Carole King." The Tourcelebrated the fortieth anniversary of the couple's first joint appearance at the Troubadour in West Hollywood.

The elder Taylor is planning some great events for the next year sans offspring. In April and May 2011 James Taylor in New York City, to perform four shows at Carnegie Hall.

Next summer, fans of James Taylor at Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts caught. Sweet Baby James on stage on 30 June 1 July, July 3 and July 4.
