The Black Keys new album, "Brothers", more polished, but still Rocks
Full Disclosure. I love the Black Keys. With their first seven albums, have cemented their "can do no wrong" (except, in collaboration with the rap and hip-hop - Blackroc never happened) cachet with me. There are very few bands that manage to that level with me: Velvet Underground, Nirvana, The Pixies, Heartless Bastards, Beastie Boys is, in this post from his current album, brothers, try to understand, I have a crush on Bias. I expect it to be sweet.
In afirst listen, it seems that the kids learned some things from their collaboration with Danger Mouse on the last attempt, Attack & Release, and perhaps even side by side with the genes, such as Raekwon, RZA and Q-Tip album for the terrible Blackroc. The sound is rich. It 's over. And fairly saturated in the blood. Not the bare rock duo won the first Fat Possum precious stones, and I'm cool with it.
Brothers begins with the eternal light, and I must say something here. I love MarcBolan. Dude has the right. I have great respect for Electric Warrior by T. Rex, so when Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney pay homage to step right into the mambo, I sold it again. I have to pay twice the sticker price because the house is what is hittin. Auerbach pipes are in good shape, the guitar drums and vocals perfectly and now on film
The table is still for the show, a section of the "single" from the album: Go Girl. "Oh my Girls NextNothing like my ex-girlfriend ... I've made mistakes then, I will not do it again. Oh my girl next will not be like my ex-girlfriend ... It 'a dance was painful, but I got a second chance. "
I am no one to analyze the song, but the evil is there in writing, piercing the right to break the nucleus, fragile relationships, love and offensive. God this is a good song.
The album really starts to wash over me. Tighten Up is by whistling. Patrick is my great Howlin 'for you.
The Only Onewash me away in cold water again ... is beautiful. Ten Cent gun looks like Primal Scream, then kill him with this fascinating story about a murder product sound very full. This may be the best song on an album to upload.
Gotta love the line in the Go Getter "Just hold on and not give up, to help soften the blow pretty girls." unknown brother is like Hasil Adkins and Bill Withers cooperation: dirty guitar on a bed of feathers soulful. Never Gonna Give You Up is a JerryButler, cover and the keys to get it right. Not to be confused with R & B gem meme Rick rolled Rick Astley. Because I love The Black Keys. You can choose to cover a song from old school and do it well, keeping the soul and charm of the original, but adding a touch that tells me that the future may be just fine.
