One of the good things about working for this huge retailer is that they offer a strong benefit package when you have a job at Walmart. They are dedicated to rewarding their employees as much as they reasonably can without having to raise prices that would chase their frugal customer base.

Retirement Plans

A profit sharing plan and 401(k) plans are a nice feature for the associates of Walmart and make contributions to those plans even if an employee chooses not to contribute. Associates can also purchase stock in the company without paying brokerage fees and a portion of their purchases are matched for those that have jobs at Walmart.

Performance bonuses as well as long term service awards are also a part of the Walmart benefit package as they appreciate the employee that is dedicated to the company on a long term basis.
